We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager / Estimator for a full-time, on-site role in Loveland, CO. This position is crucial for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring successful project execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and managing project timelines and resources.

Your responsibilities as part of our team at Centerline:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities to ensure project completion on time and within budget
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Prepare accurate project cost estimates and manage project finances
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for senior management
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally

  • Strong experience in project management, expediting, and logistics management
  • Proficiency in project planning and estimation
  • Excellent client and internal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time
  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions
  • Minimum of 5-years proven experience in construction project management and estimating
  • Experience in the utilities and/or energy industry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred

The work environment in your role at Centerline:

  • The work environment involves both office desk work and visits to active outdoor construction areas
  • Work sites are outside year-round and exposure to natural elements such as heat, cold, wind, and sun is to be expected
  • Work situations include working on / near live utility lines such as natural gas, water, and electric lines
  • Work may be required on and near heavy excavation equipment, vehicles, and trailers
  • Required to use appropriate personal protective equipment, as conditions, tasks, and requirements warrant

The physical requirements of your role:

  • Work involves a combination of desk work, construction site visits, and meeting with clients and vendors
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Travel may be required
  • Work may be performed in adverse environmental conditions such as confined spaces, high and low temperature environments, adverse weather conditions, etc.
